We are seeking a Manufacturing Planner / Scheduler to support our clients production planning and scheduling within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for translating customer demand, available capacity, and material readiness into actionable production schedules that support efficient operations and on-time delivery.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while partnering closely with production, purchasing, and inventory teams.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, and material availability
- Perform capacity planning across machines, labor, and manufacturing resources
- Release, track, and manage work orders within ERP/MRP systems
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, downtime, and constraints
- Collaborate with production leadership to align priorities and maintain workflow efficiency
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements to increase throughput and schedule adherence
- Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure material readiness
- Maintain accurate planning data and support operational reporting
- Track performance metrics including schedule adherence and on-time delivery
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems (JobBOSS experience preferred)
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and data analysis
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow, and capacity planning
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred
